About Alex

Alex du Celliee Muller is the owner and trainer at River City Training Stable. She grew up showing Dressage and Eventing in California, before moving to Arkansas in 2011.  After two years with Teach for America, Alex relocated to Little Rock and began to teach and train full time.  She is a United States Pony Club graduate "A Dressage", USPC National Examiner, and a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist.

Alex enjoys the process of developing a horse and rider properly and places emphasis on the partnership and on rider biomechanics. She prides herself on developing schooling exercises that give the rider direction during solo rides and assist the rider in bringing the horse up the training pyramid.  Alex releases a regular schooling exercise via her Youtube channel "River City Rider Life."

Alex teaches lessons and clinics to riders of all levels, including beginner adults and children.  She also loves training both warmbloods and non-traditional breeds for dressage and eventing.  Her Saddlebred/ Tennessee Walking Horse, Fern, won the SWDC Second Level Open Championship in 2020 and is preparing for her fourth level debut in 2021.
